The Alabama Department of Revenue recently announced the timeline for the 2026-2027 CHOOSE Act year.
The application will open for renewing families on December 15th, new applicants on January 2nd, and will close on March 31st. Families/students who are awarded money through the CHOOSE Act will be notified on April 15th.
