Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that support early learning and development
- Foster a safe, caring, and welcoming classroom environment
- Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development
- Maintain effective classroom management and positive behavior guidance
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Maintain student records and complete required assessments and documentation
- Participate in school events, professional development, and faculty meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

The ideal candidate will have a love for upper elementary education and a commitment to fostering academic excellence while supporting the intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of each student. This teacher will create a challenging and encouraging classroom environment that prepares students for a successful transition into middle school.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons across core subject areas
- Create a positive, organized, and student-centered classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Foster critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and strong study habits
- Maintain effective classroom management while building positive relationships with students
- Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student achievement, progress, and classroom activities
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate student records and complete required assessments and documentation
- Participate in school events, professional development, faculty meetings, and the life of the school community
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field required
- Valid teaching certification preferred
- Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of upper elementary curriculum and instructional best practices
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

- Must successfully complete all required background checks
