St. Luke's Entrepreneurship Intern Taylor

More Than a Student.

T
his year, St. Luke’s created a new Entrepreneurship and Small Business Start Up Internship was made available to junior and senior student ambassadors through an application process. The main goal of this internship is to provide our students with a chance to gain skills in teamwork, organization, accountability, and problem-solving in a real-world application. Students will be immersed into the world of business to give them insight into the set up and management of a small business. Students are encouraged to share ideas and feedback and be involved in discussions. With the many different responsibilities and job functions, students will get valuable feedback on their performance.

Taylor Jackson, a junior at St. Luke’s Episcopal School, currently participates in the Entrepreneurship & Small Business Startup Internship. She hopes to learn entrepreneurial skills that she will use for the rest of her life. Taylor loves to organize and will be a total asset with our records and inventory.

Taylor isn’t sure what her goals are after graduating from St. Luke’s other than attending a good school and deciding what she wants to do from there. In college, she hopes to focus on self growth and her studies more so than just the social aspect of being independent.

In 5 years from now, Taylor hopes to be studying something she loves in a place she absolutely adores and spending her time focusing on her career as well as the bright future ahead of her.
