St. Luke’s New Biomed Skills Lab

Connie JacksonBiomed, University, Upper School

A new and exciting change for the 2021-2022 school year is the addition of a Clinical Skills Lab Assistant and Development Internship opportunity.  Seniors, Ella Grace Rader and Reagan Warner were selected as pioneers of this program.

This particular internship will have a combination of skills lab needs and development office needs.  This internship was designed to provide interactive learning opportunities, prepping for and assisting with skills labs, and also structured experiences in organizational strategies as they pertain to our Biomedical Program and Development.

The Clinical Skills Lab Assistants and Development Interns will have the following job duties: entering data, labeling/organizing clinical supplies and files, setting up equipment and supplies for labs, videoing instructional labs and/or creating instructional handouts.  For development, the interns will transfer paper files to digital files, contact our alumni, assist in gathering donations and sponsorships and maintain records as needed.
