Coach Wayne Tolbert Jr. brings a wealth of coaching experience and a passion for developing student-athletes to his role as Head Boys Basketball Coach at St. Luke's Episcopal School. Girls Basketball Coach

Charlie Shipp has been a pillar in varsity girls' basketball for over a quarter of a century. With 25 years of dedicated service as the head coach at Davidson High School, Charlie has left a mark on the sport and the athletes he has mentored. His commitment to physical education extends even further, with 27 years of experience.

Coach Shipp's coaching journey is not limited to Davidson High School. He has also brought his expertise to St. Paul's and Grand Bay, where he also fostered a passion for basketball and sportsmanship. A proud alumnus of St. Paul's, Charlie earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Alabama. His pursuit of knowledge didn't stop there; he furthered his education by obtaining a master's degree from the University of Mobile.

Coach Shipp's career is a testament to his unwavering dedication to athletics and education. His legacy is one of inspiration. He has impacted countless students and athletes, guiding them not only in sport but also in life.
